Border Crossing Under Duress

Runners crossed the South Africa-Lesotho border mid-race at the Sani Pass control point — possibly the only ultra where your passport gets stamped during the race. The Lesotho side of the pass is unpaved and steeper, adding insult to already-injured quads.
