The Course
A 100-mile route tracing the path of the former Berlin Wall, following the Mauerweg cycle path that encircles what was once West Berlin. Runners pass through former death strips, Cold War checkpoints, and sections where the Wall still stands. The course is almost entirely flat on paved or compacted gravel paths, winding through urban Berlin, suburban forests, and agricultural fields on the city's outskirts. It's a history lesson at 10km/h — every kilometre has a story.
